Care for Cardiac Children Association （C.C.C.A.）,R.O.C. was founded by cardiac parents in 1991. The purpose of the association is to unite doctors, nurses, social workers and other social resouces, in order to help the public to recognize and emphasize the welfare of the cardiac children. The association also provides the channel to help cardiac children’s parents sharing their experience in hospitalizing, schooling, raising the children, and job finding. Activities are held during the year, such as summer and winter outdoor camp, medical lecture related to cardiac disease, children’s day, mother’s day and X’mas celebration, etc. Doctors, nurses and student volunteers are fully support the whole activities. Under the supervision of the Association, a group of cardiac children’s mother, voluntarily formed a team, once a week, they visit inpatient and outpatient cardiac children in hospital, not only comfort the cardiac children and their family, but also provide the welfare resources to the family. The Association has been formed for 17 years now, for the best welfare of the cardiac children, we need your support, love and care. |
